In this full-day, hands-on workshop, taught by Knight Foundry’s own experts, you will experience the entire foundry workflow. The workshop will begin with the basics of sand preparation and conditioning, then move to the foundry for instruction on bench molding and furnace operation. We’ll cover advanced skills using cores, and as you work you’ll gain a wealth of molding and casting tips and tricks. Our staff will pour completed student molds in aluminum and provide feedback on the castings.
